Half Marathan Race
The half Marathon  Course traverses the ridges and woods surrounding the city of Munising, Passing Waterfalls and streams, with views of Lake superior.  The course is a combination of paved roads and wooded trails.  There is an incline of 300' within the first quarter mile.  The hilly terrain challenges the most experienced runners.  The final trial is at the ten-mile mark where runners climb 328' up sandy "Stink Hill" only to descend St. Martin's Hill. The finale is a quarter mile loop around the track at R.W. Nebel Memorial Field.

5k Race
Participants in the 5k event experience a less challenging course traversing flat, paved surfaces through picturesque Munising.  This course provides an opportunity to "give it your all" without the steep elevations and varying surfaces of the half marathon course.

Fun Walk
Walkers may start anytime prior to 7:30 a.m. Walkers are welcome to walk all or part of the 13.1 mile course.

That's right the boats have glass viewing port in the bottom.  You can see the sunken shipwrecks very clearly and the narratives are very informative.  This is definitely a tour worth taking.  When you are passing through beautiful Munising on the Lake Superior Shoreline, make sure you stop for the Glass Bottom Boat Shipwreck tours!!
